It&#8217;s very interesting stuff and he makes great points about pricing potential, especially in the fantasy field.<\/p>\n<p>While Kevin has been contrasting traditionally published pricing vs. self-published, I&#8217;ve been going over the same lists and sorting along the lines of books in KDP Select and books not in Select. It&#8217;s something of a proxy for the same concept, but I&#8217;m more interested in Select than I am in the trade vs. indie battles. I&#8217;ll have more to say about that next week.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it&#8217;s great to see that in both of these two genres, on Amazon and for ebooks, self-publishers now constitute a majority of the books on the list.
