Sometimes when it comes to revising works I’ve written, even when I’m working with notes from a beta reader and I get to decide what to change or not, I have huge resistance to the work. Something in me hates reading my work again, although when a piece has rested<\/i> for a bit I can always see it more clearly and often find that I like most of what I’ve done (while inevitably seeing pieces that need polishing, too).
